Dear Atlanta,
I hope this announcement finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an important decision I have made regarding my career path and the services I offer. As of today, I will be discontinuing my doula services in Atlanta and transitioning into a new role as a traveling midwife assistant and midwife under supervision.
The journey of being a doula has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me during this time. However, after much reflection and consideration, I feel compelled to take the next step in my professional growth by fully committing to midwifery.
I have already commenced my training and will be working under the guidance of experienced midwives to further develop my skills and expertise. This new path will allow me to provide a broader range of care and support to expecting mothers and families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences.
For any ongoing doula support, I will do my best to refer you to trusted colleagues in the field whom I know will provide excellent care. Please know that your needs remain essential to me, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition during this period of change.
I am deeply grateful for the wonderful connections I have made as a doula, and I am eager to continue supporting and empowering families as a midwife. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to sharing this new chapter with all of you.
